Heyyy! Bad new for today. My son told me he wanted to join U.S. army in the end of the year. I feel really in two minds about it. On one hand I am feeling very patriotic about sending out troops to the world hottest spots, but on another it is not my son who I want to be sending.
And what’s wrong with serving in the army? You can go yourself by the way too. You seem to be a mama’s boy. Anyway, if you really don’t want him to join, you can redirect him to some other boys’ activities, like hiking or hunting.
Interesting discussion guys. I agree that a future man should not sit on a sofa in front of a TV. So perhaps hunting or tracking with a backpack will be a great alternative if he changes his mind about the army.
