There are different types of plinth windows available in the market. Each type has its own unique features and advantages. Here are some of the most common types of basement windows: Hopper Windows: Hopper windows are a popular choice for basements. They are hung at the bottom and open inward to provide ventilation and natural light. Sliding windows. Sliding windows are another popular basement window option. They glide horizontally and are easy to operate, making them a great choice for hard-to-reach areas. Awning Windows: Awning windows are hinged at the top and open outward to provide ventilation and natural light. They are an excellent choice for dry areas such as laundry rooms. Egress Windows: Egress windows are designed to provide an emergency exit from the basement in the event of a fire or other emergency. They are required by law in all living areas and basement bedrooms.

As far as I know installing basement windows is very favorable to the basement, for example not only let natural air in, but also let natural light into the basement. Depending on how your homestead is envisioned, outlet windows will be more beautiful if they are complemented by a patio or other outdoor living space.
