The NHS is the largest single-payer healthcare system in the world, providing services to over 53 million people. And while it’s easy to assume that such a large organization would be able to offer its patients the best possible care, it’s actually rife with mistakes and negligence. This isn’t something that anyone likes talking about: after all, we all want our doctors and nurses to be doing their best for us! But what if there was a way for you to find out whether your doctor or hospital had been negligent? In this article I’ll talk about what negligence means within the NHS negligence and how you can find out whether someone has been negligent in treating you.
Negligence within the NHS has been a persistent problem

Negligence within the NHS has been a persistent problem. In fact, it’s such an issue that it’s even been acknowledged by the NHS itself. The organisation has even set up a website to encourage people who have suffered at the hands of negligent medical professionals to come forward and report their experiences.

However, despite these efforts, there are still many instances of negligence in our hospitals each year — so much so that some would say this is symptomatic of a wider issue: namely, that our health service needs more funding if we’re going to see improvements in patient care and outcomes (and therefore reduce cases where negligence occurs).
